Our founding Occupational Therapists each have over 30 years experience that includes working in the USA and Australia. Our experience includes hospital acute and rehabilitation services, occupational rehabilitation, community aged care, disability services and multiple insurance schemes (eg. SIRA icare NSW). We are passionate in supporting adults with complex and neurological conditions such as stroke, brain injury, dementia and neuro-progressive conditions and aim to provide comprehensive assessment and quality evidenced based practice that promotes independence and quality of life. We are Occupational Therapy Australia members with demonstrated commitment to our profession.
Michelle Van Wyck
An Allied Health leader and senior Occupational Therapist who has practiced in the USA for many years and managed multidisciplinary teams including in the Mid North Coast NSW (Mayo). Michelle has many years experience in hospital rehabilitation and community services. A certified hand therapist (USA) with experience in vocational and neurorehabilitation including NSW SIRA, Lifetime Care & Support, hospital services, aged care and the NDIS. Michelle supports Taree and Forster NSW regions with expertise in:

Karen Opitz
An experienced clinician committed to supporting people with complex needs with past roles in the USA, an Injury Management Advisor (insurance schemes), clinician at the Stroke Foundation, NSW Health Brain Injury Rehabilitation Services, NSW Rural Spinal Cord Injury Services and senior OT Qld Health. University Clinical Educator. Strategic roles have included the Public Trustee, NIISQ and the NDIA. Experienced in supporting adults with neurological conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, younger onset dementia and degenerative neurological conditions. Karen supports the Port Macquarie region:
